The real Slim Shady is a grandpa now — everyone, please stand up.
Rapper Eminem, born Marshall Mathers, has earned another title to add to his already impressive resume. His daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, revealed Friday on Instagram, that she and husband Evan McClintock recently welcomed son Elliot Marshall McClintock into the world.
“Happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e 🤍,” Scott affectionately captioned the post.
One social media user on the platform quickly pointed out that, “His initials are EM & M 🩵 Genius! What a little cutie.”
During a Feb. 28 taping of Scott’s podcast “Just a Little Shady,” she gleamed with excitement about becoming a mom, joking that this summer, she was most looking forward to putting sunglasses on her soon-to-arrive bundle of joy.
Scott shared her awe at the idea of meeting her then-unborn child, confessing she couldn’t quite wrap her head around it — while also cheekily stating her baby would be a “dream podcast guest.”

“I have to meet this human that I’ve created,” she said. “It’s really strange to think about but super exciting.”
In October 2024, Eminem released his song “Temporary,” an emotional tribute to his daughter along with a video montage filled with home movies and footage from Scott and McClintock’s May 2024 wedding. In one clip, Scott and McClintock hold up a sonogram, revealing to the rapper that he’d be stepping into the role of grandfather.
