Charles Spencer has seemingly hinted at his next steps after the publication of his Princess Diana memoir, Swan Song, last week.
The Earl, 62, has trademarked the name of his family business on the Althorp Estate , Spencer Farms, to use for goods, according to a listing on the government’s Intellectual Property Office.
These will potentially include honey, tea, marmalade, and wine, as well as rugs and bags. He has also registered his name for public speaking and appearances.
This means he could earn money from products under the name and prevent others from using it without permission.
