Dolly Parton’s extraordinary life came full circle on Saturday night as some of country music’s biggest stars gathered at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry to celebrate the late icon, just one day after she was laid to rest.
The country legend, who died aged 80 on August 25 following what her representatives described as a brief battle with cancer, was honored with an emotional, sold-out show at the venue that helped launch her career when she was just 13 years old.
