Singer and actress Diana Ross is set to perform at amfAR’s inaugural Las Vegas gala on Nov. 22.

The event will honor Oscar-winner Sylvester Stallone as well as his wife Jennifer Stallone, an entrepreneur, philanthropist and model.

The Stallones will be recognized with amfAR’s Award of Inspiration for their support of amfAR’s work as well as other causes related to health, education and women’s rights. Past recipients of the Award of Inspiration include Richard Gere, Ava DuVernay, Cher, Miley Cyrus and Charlize Theron.

“AmfAR is thrilled to be bringing this signature fundraising gala to Las Vegas,” amfAR CEO Kevin Robert Frost said in a statement Tuesday morning. “We are deeply grateful to our performers, honorees and sponsors, and to the Wynn for hosting this event and for recognizing the importance of amfAR’s lifesaving work.”

The event, which will coincide with race weekend at Wynn Las Vegas, will also include a seated dinner in addition to a live auction of contemporary art and luxury experiences. AmfAR Las Vegas will take place at the Event Pavilion at The Wynn Casino in Las Vegas, with Wynn Las Vegas serving as the official hotel partner for the benefit.

Ross recently performed at “Live From Detroit: The Concert at Michigan Central” in June.

“When your all-star Detroit concert opens with none other than Miss Diana Ross gliding down the stage catwalk in an enormous cloud of orange chiffon singing ‘I’m Coming Out,’ you are setting the bar high from the jump,” wrote Variety’s Caryn Rose in her review of the concert.
