Dave Bautista may be on his way to “Road House 2.”

Sources tell me that the actor has been offered a role in the Amazon MGM Studios sequel.

Reps for Bautista and the streamer did not comment.

Guy Ritchie is set to direct “Road House 2” with Jake Gyllenhaal returning as ex-UFC fighter Dalton.

“Road House,” a reboot of the 1989 classic starring Patrick Swayze, followed Dalton becoming the bouncer of a Florida Keys roadhouse where he finds himself roped into a war of outlaws and bikers (including real-life mixed martial artist and first-time actor, Conor McGregor) and a developer determined to build a lavish resort.

The reboot was directed by Doug Liman, who publicly expressed frustration that the movie wasn’t getting a theatrical release. “Road House” premiered on Prime Video in March last year. The broke records for the streamer — attracting nearly 80 million worldwide viewers in its first eight weeks to become the studio’s “most-watched produced film debut ever on a worldwide basis,” per then-studio chief Jennifer Salke.

Will Beall (“Bad Boys: Ride or Die,” “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F”) is writing the script for the sequel. Producers include Atlas Entertainment’s Charles Roven and Alex Gartner, as well as Gyllenhaal for his Nine Stories Productions with Josh McLaughlin. Ivan Atkinson will executive produce.

Bautista will next been seen in “The Trap House” from Aura Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios buddy comedy “Wrecking Crew” with Jason Momoa.

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star is currently shooting the Zellner Brothers comedy “Alpha Gang” with Cate Blanchett.

Bautista and his production company Dogbone Entertainment are repped by WME and Karl Austen of Jackoway Austen Tyerman Wertheimer Mandelbaum Morris Bernstein Trattner Auerbach Hynick Jaime LeVine Sample & Klein.
