“The Daily Show” correspondent Desi Lydic poured Donald Trump’s showering claim down the drain on Thursday.

The president, in response to the Biden administration reversing his changes to the amount of water that flows out of shower nozzles, brought an end to what he described as the left’s “war on water pressure” by signing an executive order aimed at halting water conservation efforts.

“In my case, I like to take a nice shower to take care of my beautiful hair. I have to stand under the shower for 15 minutes until it gets wet,” Trump said in the Oval Office on Wednesday. “It comes out drip, drip, drip. It’s ridiculous.”

Lydic swiftly clowned Trump for his outlandish complaint.

“It takes 15 minutes for your hair to get wet? Are you sure you’re not standing in the pantry?” she quipped as a fake (censored) image of Trump in the nude flashed on the screen.

“The water pressure is terrible in here and we’re out of Cheez-Its.”

Lydic later noted that Trump’s “major announcement” got Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade to deploy the network’s “most sophisticated journalism technique”: talking to old people at a diner.

Kilmeade — in a “Fox & Friends” interview with a man at a diner in Richmond, Virginia — asked what it’s like to have “strong” water pressure in the shower again.

“That’s just fine with me. I think you should. I think it ought to blow the skin off you if you want it that way,” the man replied.

“We don’t want to blow the skin off. The epidermis is quite vital,” Kilmeade replied.

Lydic joked, “All right, hold on, Kilmeade. Don’t act like that guy is the weird one. You’re the one walking around a diner going, ‘Tell me what you do in the shower.’”
