Martin Kove, who played sadistic sensei John Kreese in “The Karate Kid” movie and its recent spinoff series “Cobra Kai,” allegedly bit his co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim at a fan convention and was escorted out of the venue on Sunday.

Hannah-Kim, who also played a troubled sensei in the Netflix show, made the allegation in a police informational report obtained by several outlets, including People and Variety, but did not press charges.

She alleges that Kove greeted her at Summer Con in Puyallup, Washington, by sinking his teeth into her arm.

“Martin Kove suddenly grabbed her arm and bit her upper arm so hard it nearly drew blood, and she yelled out in pain,” according to the informational report outlets are citing. “Once Martin Kove finished biting her arm, he grabbed her arm again and began kissing it where he had bit her.”

Martin Kove said he was “messing around” when he bit his co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim at a fan convention, according to a report.

Hannah-Kim’s husband, Sebastian Roché, confronted Kove, who “exploded on them” while claiming “he did not do anything wrong,” according to the report.

An officer at the event said Hannah-Kim “had a very noticeable bite mark on her arm that was already turning blue and bruising,” the account noted.

Kove reportedly “admitted to biting” Hannah-Kim but “said he did it out of jest.”

When Hannah-Kim and the officer confronted Kove, he said he was “messing around” and did not intend to do anything illegal.

Although Hannah-Kim did not file a criminal report, she and her husband signed affidavits to be used if needed in the future.

HuffPost reached out to police and a representative for Kove to comment.
