NBC has renewed “Chicago Med,” “Chicago Fire,” and “Chicago PD” for new seasons.

The renewals bring “Med” to Season 11, “Fire” to Season 13, and “PD” to Season 15. All three shows currently air back-to-back on Wednesday nights on NBC, where they remain incredibly popular even this far into their runs. Per NBC, the three shows have reached nearly 46 million total viewers this season to-date across NBC and Peacock.

All three series are produced by Universal Television in association with Wolf Entertainment. Dick Wolf and Peter Jankowski are executive producers across all three shows. Allen MacDonald and Stephen Hootstein are also executive producers are “Chicago Med,” while Andrea Newman, Reza Tabrizi, and Matt Whitney are also executive producers on “Chicago Fire.” Gwen Sigan, Chad Saxton, Gavin Harris, and Jason Beghe serve as executive producers on “Chicago P.D.”

Renewals for all three shows were seen as virtually guaranteed going into the NBCUniversal upfront presentation in New York on May 12, pending the usual budget talks and trimming. Wolf Entertainment maintains a very strong relationship with NBC under the company’s rich overall deal with Universal Television. Renewals for “Law & Order” and “Law & Order: SVU” are still pending. “Law & Order: Organized Crime” starring Christopher Meloni recently launched its fifth season on Peacock.

Wolf Entertainment also has the “FBI” franchise at CBS, which is a co-production by UTV and CBS Studios. It was recently announced that, while two shows in the franchise have been canceled, CBS has ordered a new “FBI” series starring Tom Ellis.

NBC still has a number of decisions to make vis-à-vis renewals or cancellations. In addition to the two “Law & Order” shows, announcements are pending for: freshman dramas “Suits LA,” “Brilliant Minds,” “Grosse Pointe Garden Society,” and “The Hunting Party; sophomore shows “The Irrational” and “Found;” and comedies “Lopez vs. Lopez” and “Night Court.”
