Sami Sheen is getting candid about her decision to have her breast implants removed.

The 21-year-old daughter of actors Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen shared a series of short videos on her social media accounts Monday in which she acknowledged she’s looking for a “good explant surgeon” in Los Angeles so that she can undergo the procedure.

“This is your sign to not get implants. it’s not worth it. i feel like they are killing me,” she wrote on TikTok, adding: “I want them out asap i feel so sick. i just know they are the reason im feeling like this.”

In a second TikTok video, Sheen responded to a fan who suggested her “lifestyle” was to blame for her emotions, “Well, talk about gaslighting. You know, I do have two foreign objects covered in silicone placed inside my body that are constantly getting heated up, which then causes them to release toxins throughout my bloodstream.”

She shared similar sentiments on her Instagram Stories, noting that she’s “been experiencing health issues” for nearly two years, and “finally discovered that I have breast implant illness.”

“Idk how I haven’t figured this out sooner but i’m so glad to finally have an answer,” she wrote, per People. “I’m hoping to get them removed ASAP so I can start feeling better.”

In a second Instagram Stories post, Sheen admitted that going back to her pre-surgery breast size was going to be challenging “not only physically but mentally.”

“This is your sign to put always put your health first,” she wrote, after pointing out that she believes the surgery also impacted her hair growth.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, breast implant illness (BII) refers to a wide range of symptoms that include joint and muscle pain, chronic fatigue and memory problems ― some of which Sheen has said she’s experienced ― that can develop in people who have any type of breast implants. Though researchers are continuing to study BII, it isn’t formally recognized as an official medical diagnosis at present.

Sheen, who in 2022 launched an OnlyFans account shortly after her 18th birthday, underwent breast augmentation surgery nearly two years ago. She also documented the experience ― as well as some of her other cosmetic procedures ― on social media and, later, in interviews.

“I was 10 years old and like, ‘I can’t wait to have big boobs like my mom,’” Sheen told Bustle in a joint interview with Richards in 2023. “All my friends were getting boobs, and I was just like, ‘OK, when’s it my turn?’ I would always stuff my bra with socks and stuff.”

In that same interview, Richards shared that she was planning to get her breast implants removed.

“I got them done at the same age Sami is wanting to get them done,” she said. “I’m trying to talk her out of it because, and the reason why I’m getting them out, is I didn’t know how toxic [they are] when I was 19. And it’s not an easy surgery. It’s painful!”
