At the Season 2 premiere of the Netflix action series “Fubar,” Carrie-Anne Moss praised her co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger, as did several of the other cast members.
Asked to name the main reason for joining the show, Moss quickly told Variety, “Arnold. Schwarzenegger.
“The opportunity to work with Arnold, I had never really imagined it, and then when it came my way, it made so much sense,” continued Moss, plays a spy named Greta. “And I loved working with him and getting to know him and becoming friends.”
The pair tango together early in the season in a dance scene that helps their long-separated characters get to know each other again. “We met doing that, practicing that dance, and I think it turned out great. We worked hard to get it together, and I think it’s amazing and a great way to introduce my character and introduce our relationship. It tells you everything in that,” Moss said.
The premiere was held at the Netflix Tudum Theater in Los Angeles, where a giant sculpture of Schwarzenegger loomed over the venue. A pig named Arnold Snortzenegger made its appearance on the red carpet with the “Terminator” star.
Schwarzenegger bonded over a pig with Travis Van Winkle, whose character plays Aldon has a pet pig in Season 2.
“Arnold loves pigs, and every time in between takes, I would always hand him [the pig] Dexter,” Van Winkle told Variety.
Van Winkle also complimented Moss’s work this season: “To bring in another iconic figure in cinema, it was incredible to have her elevate our show in that way. She’s done so much great work in her career. It was wonderful to meet her, to work with her.”
The series follows CIA operative Luke (Schwarzenegger), who works alongside his daughter Emma (Monica Barbaro) and other CIA officers like Aldon and Roo (Fortune Feimster) and tech genius Barry (Milan Carter) to tackle spy missions.

For the returning cast members, Season 2 provided the chance to build upon the friendships from the first season. “It was great because Season 1, we had COVID, it was during COVID, so masks and tests and we couldn’t socialize,” Fabiana Udenio, who plays Luke’s partner Tally, said. “Season 2, Arnold actually took the lead, getting us all together.”
Feimster also spoke about the cast’s dynamic, describing it as “immediate laughs and inside jokes and teasing each other.”
The comedian named Schwarzenegger as the funniest person on set, besides herself. “He likes to tease people, but in a loving way. He’s worked with people like 30 years. Some of the guys on his team, they know each other so well, so they’ll rib each other, and we’ll get in on that. And I like to say his catchphrases to him a lot, and he is a really good sport about it.”

Guy Burnet, who plays Theodore Chips, also spoke highly of Schwarzenegger’s on-set presence: “He makes you feel so comfortable. He creates that space for you to flourish.”
As for Season 2, Carter said viewers can expect much of the same family dynamic from the previous season: “That’s why our show is good, because it’s an ensemble.”
