Brad Pitt broke his silence on finalizing his divorce from Angelina Jolie after eight years.

During an interview with GQ published Wednesday, the “Fight Club” actor was asked if he felt “relief” after he and the actress reached a settlement in their split in December 2024.

“No, I don’t think it was that major of a thing,” he told the outlet.

“Just something coming to fruition. Legally,” the dad of six added.

In December 2024, the “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” co-stars settled their split, eight years after Jolie initially filed for the dissolution of their marriage in September 2016.

“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family,” the mom of six’s lawyer, James Simon, told Page Six at the time.

“This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”

Jolie’s legal team filed court docs stating that the “Maria” star, 49, had waived “any right to receive” spousal support from Pitt, 61, “forever.”

Jolie and Pitt were declared legally single in 2019.

The exes share six kids: Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
