Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, interrupted his “CBS Sunday Morning” interview after the football coach was asked about how they met.
“We’re not talking about this,” the 24-year-old sternly told journalist Tony Dokoupil as she watched off-camera.
Dokoupil explained in a voiceover that the couple did not feel “comfortable” commenting on their relationship and noted Hudson was a “constant presence” throughout the interview.
The broadcaster then asked Belichick, 73, how he deals with the public scrutiny surrounding his romance with Hudson, who is 49 years his junior.
“I’ve never been too worried about what everybody else thinks,” the legendary NFL coach said. “Just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what’s right.”
Belichick also vaguely responded to being featured in the former cheerleader’s Instagram posts, including the photos of him holding her up in the air on the beach.
“Yeah, so I’m on some of those social media platforms, but I honestly don’t follow ’em,” he said.
While Belichick was cut off from answering how he and Hudson met, they reportedly had their first encounter on a plane in 2021 before they started dating.
A photo obtained by TMZ in June 2024 showed that Belichick allegedly signed Hudson’s Bridgewater State University textbook with an note that read, “Jordon, Thanks for giving me a course in logic! Safe travels!”
An insider told the outlet they were flying from the Boston area to Florida when they crossed paths and exchanged contact information.
News of the couple’s romance broke last year after Belichick called it quits with Linda Holliday after 10 years together.
The exes had reportedly “been involved in a drawn-out, back-and-forth breakup for nearly a year” before breaking up in September 2023.
Hudson and Belichick, however, were first seen together in January 2023 walking through New Orleans.
However, they weren’t romantically linked until that September when they were caught holding hands.
In December 2024, a source told Page Six that the former New England Patriots coach “couldn’t care less about the age difference.”
“Jordon is an old soul, so she and Bill connect on a deep level,” the insider said.
