The 56-year-old rapper paused his hit-packed show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Friday night to turn the spotlight on Beyoncé, who was watching proudly from a VIP suite as she celebrated her birthday.
As the crowd joined Jay-Z in singing “Happy Birthday,” Beyoncé appeared on the stadium’s giant screens, smiling and blowing kisses while fireworks exploded into the night sky.
