Argentine pop singer Emilia is set to make her debut in the United States with three shows set for New York City, Los Angeles and Miami this August and September. The Sony Music Latin artist will kick off her first lap across the country with shows beginning on Aug. 23 at the Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theatre in Florida. She will visit the Wiltern in Los Angeles on Sept. 4, and the Brooklyn Paramount in New York on Sept. 6.

“Every new place I visit is a dream come true,” Emilia tells Variety of her latest career move. “I’m very excited and grateful to have the opportunity to perform in the United States. I believe everything comes at the right time; in this fast-paced world, things happen when they’re meant to.”

This U.S. leg will add to a growing list of international stops for the Latin Grammy-nominated artist, who is scheduled to play in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Spain.

“I’m from a very small town in Entre Ríos, Argentina, and now I have the privilege of sharing my music in iconic cities like Miami, Los Angeles and New York — I still don’t even believe it.”

Emilia will soon build on this announcement with a new EP, which is set to will include singles “Blackout,” featuring fellow Argentina natives Tini and Nicki Nicole, in addition to “Bunda,” which features Brazillian star Luísa Sonza. She was also recently featured on a remix of Dennis DJ and Sonza’s “Motinha 2.0 (Mete Marcha).”

The upcoming EP will be a reflection of “an evolution in my style,” says Emilia, adding it will equally provide “a critical look — with a touch of humor — at how female artists are perceived in the industry.”

She adds, “This new EP has me truly excited. We’ve worked incredibly hard to create a musical offering that blends a variety of sounds and a very thoughtful visual approach. It’s also very special because it’s full of collaborations with women I admire and respect; although I can’t reveal all the details yet, I’m sure it will surprise many.”

Tickets for the upcoming U.S. dates will be available starting with artist registration sign-up on May 2 at 7 a.m. PT until May 5 at 8 p.m. PT. Additional pre-sales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale, which begins on May 9 at 10 a.m. local time.
