Anne Burrell’s death is being investigated by the New York City Police Department as a possible drug overdose, the New York Times reported on Friday.
The news comes after sources exclusively confirmed to The Post that the Food Network star was surrounded by 100 pills when she was found unresponsive by her husband, Stuart Claxton, on Tuesday morning.
Burrell was pronounced “DOA [dead on arrival]” by first responders on the scene who showed up after Claxton placed a 911 call.
