This viral find has stars seeing spots.
Emily Ratajkowski recently told InStyle she “definitely always” has her freckle pen on hand when getting ready for a night out — and though she didn’t name a specific brand, the magazine credited Freck Beauty’s Freck OG Pen with the model’s realistic facial dots.
“I’ve figured out the best way to apply them,” Ratajkowski added. “They look super natural.”
She’s been using the company’s portable freckle pens for years, having included one in a Zoom meeting makeup tutorial for Vogue back in 2020.
Ratajkowski isn’t the only one zooming to pick up Freck’s hero product; Alix Earle became a fan after a friend gave her the larger Freck XL Pen for her birthday in 2021.
“Apparently Madison Beer uses it, so it must be cool,” she said in a TikTok at the time.
She’s still using it years later, telling Allure in 2024 that she dots it on top of her nose for “a little extra contour.”
“I don’t know why doing freckles on top of my makeup just makes me feel like I’m so natural and didn’t put anything on top of my face,” she added of the “fun” buy.
Beauty pros are hooked, too. Celebrity makeup Ash K. Holm — who’s worked with the likes of Megan Fox and the Kardashian-Jenners — recently told Harper’s Bazaar the original pen is “amazing for a natural look.”
And judging by the many influencers who’ve used their Freck pens on TikTok, you won’t need your own glam squad to try this viral find for yourself.
