Ali Krieger confirmed the identity of her mystery girlfriend four months after revealing she had a new love in her life.

Scottish soccer player Jen Beattie shared a sweet tribute to Krieger on her Instagram Story Thursday, which the former Gotham FC star reposted on her own page.

Beattie, 33, chose a picture of the pair laughing over a glass of wine, captioned, “Thankful for you. Happy Thanksgiving my love @alikrieger ❤️,” to which Krieger, 40, added, “You have no idea.. ❤️❤️❤️.”

The couple has kept their relationship out of the public eye until now, with Krieger telling E! News that she wanted to take things slow following her highly publicized split from Ashlyn Harris.

“I’m trying to keep it private now,” she told the outlet in September.

“[With] everything I went through last year, I want to keep that more so for me and for her,” she explained. “I think it’s really important that I take this process slower, have a good concern for it and make sure that it’s moving in the right direction before any big announcement.”

Krieger first hinted about her relationship with the Bay FC star in July during an appearance on the “She Pivots” podcast.

“I’m dating a wonderful person right now, who I really, really like. I’m, you know, so grateful that we met,” she said at the time.

While it is unclear exactly when the pair met, the mother of two said the “timing” was “really great” because she had enough time to mourn her divorce.

“It gave me time from when [Harris] left to really focus on obviously soccer and finishing my career, but then healing my wounds and kind of licking my wounds so to speak,” the retired USWNT star said.

She continued, “I think, now, eight, nine months down the road has now given me time to grieve and to sort through all those feelings.”

Harris filed for divorce from Krieger in September 2023 after nearly four years of marriage.

Krieger, who shares son Sloane, 3, and daughter Ocean, 2, with Harris, discovered the news while she was “in the locker room.”

Harris, 39, began dating “One Tree Hill” star Sophia Bush shortly after their split. While Krieger’s brother hinted that Harris had cheated, she has vehemently denied speculation of infidelity.

During a recent appearance on the “Naked Sports” podcast, Harris revealed she asked Krieger for an “open marriage” as a last-ditch effort to keep their relationship alive.

“I started trying all these things, like, let’s do an open marriage,” she explained. “That was like, my last attempt of, you know, if I’m not getting what I want and we want to keep this together.”

However, Harris immediately realized that wasn’t actually what she wanted.

“I’m like, that’s just not even me, dude,” she continued.

Harris chose to “sit and suffer” for the sake of their family for a long time before doing what she felt was necessary.

Elsewhere in the episode, the athlete-turned-activist claimed she and Krieger were rarely intimate, which led to feelings of embarrassment and “shame.”

“I just felt like I wasn’t a priority,” she explained. “I didn’t feel that sense of connection, whether emotional or physical. It was soccer, job, kids, and then somewhere down the line it was like, ‘OK, what about me?’”

Krieger wasn’t the only one coming into the relationship fresh off a breakup. Beattie split from “Love Island: UK” star Amber Gill in December 2023 after nearly one year of dating.
