Addison Rae has announced her debut album “Addison,” releasing on June 6 via Columbia Records.

The singer has spent the last year ramping up towards the project, releasing a string of singles including “Diet Pepsi,” “Aquamarine” and “High Fashion.” Last week, she gave yet another taste of the dreamy ’90s-era pop she’s been exploring with “Headphones On,” co-written and produced by Luka Kloser and Elvira Anderfjärd.

Earlier this year, Rae told Rolling Stone that she co-wrote every song on the album with Kloser and Anderfjärd. “We were both shocked [that] her taste leaned very left and underground at times,” Kloser said of the project.

Rae made her music debut in 2021 with the single “Obsessed,” followed by her first EP “AR” in Aug. 2023. That project saw her collaborating with Charli xcx and Alexander 23 across four tracks, and went on to become a fan and critical darling.

In the lead-up to her album announcement, Rae appeared during both Coachella weekends, first as a guest during Arca’s set and second with an appearance alongside Charli xcx. At the former, she flashed her underwear with the words “June 6” written on it, teasing her album release date, and at the latter she made a cameo to duet with Charli on the “Von Dutch” remix that released last year.

“Addison” comes on the heels of Rae’s recent signing with Sony Music Publishing. She signed with Columbia in 2024 and dropped “Diet Pepsi” in October, debuting at No. 86 on the Billboard Hot 100.
