“Trainwreck: Poop Cruise” is the top movie on Netflix right now, according to the platform’s public ranking system.
The documentary arrived on the streamer on June 24 as part of an anthology series that explores epic real-life catastrophes, from disastrous music festivals to political scandals and media hoaxes. The latest one revisits the infamous “poop cruise” of 2013 that left 4,000 passengers without working toilets for four days.
Through firsthand accounts, “Trainwreck: Poop Cruise” recounts just how bad things got on the voyage after an engine room fire left everyone onboard without power and plumbing.

Mariska Hargitay isn’t just the star of NBC’s biggest crime drama franchise. She’s also the director of “My Mom Jayne,” a new documentary now streaming on Max. The film chronicles the private life and legacy of the “Law & Order: SVU” star’s famous mother, Hollywood icon Jayne Mansfield. The doc made its debut at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival in May before heading to streaming.
“Deep Cover,” currently trending on Prime Video, stars Bryce Dallas Howard as an improv comedy teacher who starts to question her shot at the big time when she gets offered the role of a lifetime — by an undercover cop. Unbeknownst to her, she then recruits two of her students (Orlando Bloom and Nick Mohammed) to infiltrate London’s gangland by posing as dangerous criminals.
Danielle Deadwyler’s latest horror movie is now streaming on Peacock. “The Woman in the Yard,” currently No. 1 on the streamer, stars the actor as a grief-stricken widow who must protect her two children from a mysterious woman in black who takes up residence on her front lawn.
