After four seasons, “Married to Real Estate” is coming to an end on HGTV, co-hosts Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson shared via Instagram on Tuesday.

“Mike and I just landed back in the States after an unforgettable family trip through the Mediterranean, and we’re met with unexpected news: HGTV has decided not to move forward with Married to Real Estate,” the joint statement read. “While the chain of events leading up to this is disheartening, we are deeply grateful. Grateful for four incredible seasons. Grateful for our amazing crew and supportive fans. Grateful that our businesses continue to thrive. And most of all-grateful that we are still very much married to real estate (and to each other).”

The couple continued, “There’s more to say, and we’ll share soon. But for now, know this: not all setbacks are what they seem. Some blessings show up in disguise. We’ve been here before. We’ll keep counting those blessings-and keep it moving. Stay tuned.”

The post was captioned, “Sometimes GOD will rip you out of a situation to set you up for your next!”

The series, which debuted on HGTV in January 2022 and aired a total of 44 episodes, followed the property experts and builders as they help their clients in Atlanta, Georgia, get into their dream neighborhoods and homes.

After the third season, which also streamed on Max, received 16.6 million viewers, a fourth 12-episode season aired from March to May 2025. The home reno series not only honed in on the real estate gurus’ jobs but also their family dynamics as working spouses and parents of three daughters.

Prior to the series, Sherrod hosted HGTV’s “Flipping Virgins” from 2015 to 2018. The couple appeared as blind judges on Season 2 of HGTV’s “Rock the Block” in 2021. They then came back for Season 3 to compete and won the season.

“Married to Real Estate” is produced by 51 Minds Entertainment.

Warner Bros. Discovery did not immediately respond to Variety‘s request for comment.
