Teddi Mellencamp is co-parenting like a pro with estranged husband Edwin Arroyave, just days after confirming she has a new boyfriend.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum posted a sweet family photo of her and Arroyave celebrating their 12-year-old daughter Slate’s graduation from elementary school on Instagram Friday.
“Just like that our baby girl is graduating lower school,” Mellencamp captioned the celebratory post. “Off to middle school next year. Proud of you.”
The exes’ 10-year-old son, Cruz, was also in the photograph. In addition to Slate and Cruz, Arroyave and Mellencamp share their 5-year-old daughter, Dove.
Mellencamp confirmed on Tuesday’s episode of the “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast that she’s currently dating a “private person,” whom she was photographed displaying PDA with.
She claimed he didn’t know who she was when they met and noted that he was “very kind” and “takes good care” of her.
“He’s not married, he doesn’t have any kids,” she shared.
The new couple was photographed going for a walk together in Los Angeles and they weren’t shy about showing affection. Her mystery man put his arm around her and embraced her from behind as she smiled. At one point, he lovingly adjusted her baseball cap.
Meanwhile, Arroyave has been supportive as the former reality star, 43, battles stage 4 cancer. They were married for 13 years before Mellencamp filed for divorce from the entrepreneur in November 2024. Page Six reported that her affair with her then-married horse trainer led to the split.
It’s been a tough few years for Mellencamp, who was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma in October 2022. The cancer metastasized to her brain and lungs, and she underwent emergency surgery in February to remove multiple brain tumors. In April, she announced her cancer was stage 4.
“I gotta tell you, some days I feel really, really strong and some days I feel really, really sad and alone,” she said in a video she posted on her Instagram Stories about the “scary” news. “And I think that’s a normal part of what any of us are going through, and that’s okay.”
Still, the daughter of singer-songwriter John Mellencamp and actress Victoria Granucci remained hopeful about her future.
“Of course I know the chances but I truly believe with my whole heart I will beat this and watch my kids graduate,” she shared.
