Halle Berry brushed off the haters criticizing her viral Mother’s Day video.
Nearly one month after the actress filmed herself in bed with boyfriend Van Hunt — and the lubricant they planned to “give it a spin” — she addressed the Instagram upload on the “Today” show.
“Whoever didn’t like it, so what?” the Oscar winner, 58, told Jenna Bush Hager while co-hosting “Jenna & Friends.”
She specifically slammed trolls calling her out for “talking about [her sex life] on Mother’s Day” when she should “be with her kids somewhere.”
Berry pointed out, “First of all, it’s not Kids’ Day. It’s called Mother’s Day.”
The Emmy winner — who is the mother of daughter Nahla, 17, and son Maceo-Robert, 11 — added that women should be “allowed to talk about” intimacy in their families, saying it’s “the most natural thing we do.”
The Golden Globe winner noted, “We have sex. … Men do it. Women do it. So we’re in bed. So what? It should be OK to celebrate that and not be criticized for talking about love in a time like this, in a world like this today.
“We should talk more about loving each other and not fighting,” she concluded.
Berry began dating Hunt, 55, in 2020.
Their romance began five years after she split from ex-husband Olivier Martinez, with whom she shares her youngest child.
As for Nahla, Berry co-parents the teen with ex Gabriel Aubry.
Hunt, for his part, has a teenage son named Drake.
The couple is no strangers to making Mother’s Day headlines, with Hunt posting a photo of Berry baring all on a balcony for the May 2024 holiday.
This year, the former pageant queen filmed herself seemingly topless under the covers with the musician, joking that she couldn’t “show” her followers how her day “was gonna end.”
She brandished her lube and said, “Let’s Spin just came out with this little travel size. And since we’re in Cannes, France, I traveled with it for the first time.”
Hunt hilariously quipped that he “wished [she] would hurry up.”
Social media users expressed mixed reviews in the comments section.
Some gushed over the “adorable” couple, while others called their video “the commercial nobody has asked for.”
