They found forgiveness in a hopeless place.
Ciara and pregnant Rihanna reunited at the Met Gala 2025, more than a decade after their infamous Twitter feud.
On Monday, the “Goodies” singer and the Fenty Beauty founder posed for photos together at fashion’s biggest night in New York City.
In one snap, Ciara, who was dressed in a black and semi sheer LaQuan Smith dress, cradled Rihanna’s growing baby bump as they smiled for a photo.
The photo op came 14 years after the singers went at it with each other online.
The feud between the mom of four and Rihanna began in 2011, when the former said the latter “wasn’t the nicest” when she met her at a party.
“It’s crazy because I’ve always loved and respected … she’s done fashion and we were friends before,” Ciara explained to Joan Rivers on “E! “Fashion Police” at the time.
“But this time, it wasn’t the most pleasant run-in.”
After Rihanna, 37, caught wind of the interview, she took to Twitter (now known as X) with a shady response.
“My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #you howrudeofme,” the “We Found Love” singer wrote.
Ciara, 39, replied, “Trust me Rihanna u dont want to see me on or off the stage.”
The billionaire singer then responded, “U gangsta huh? Haaa. Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of.”
However, the drama was quickly resolved behind the scenes and Rihanna issued an apology.
“Ciara baby, I love u girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I’m heartbroken! That’s y l retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup,” she tweeted at the time.
Ciara accepted the olive branch, writing, “Rhi u know its always been love since day 1! Doing shows/everything. you threw me off in that party! Apology accepted. Let’s chat in person.”
In addition to their reunion, the “Umbrella” songstress made headlines by debuting her third baby bump ahead of fashion’s biggest night on Monday.
The pop star, who also shares sons RZA, 2, and Riot, 1, with A$AP Rocky, then hit the red carpet in a Marc Jacobs suit jacket, wool bustier top and a pinstripe skirt.
Meanwhile, Ciara attended the gala with her husband, Russell Wilson.
The “1, 2 Step” singer and the NFL quarterback, 36, wed in 2016 and share three kids together. Wilson also raises Ciara’s eldest son, Future Zahir, 10, whom she welcomed with rapper Future in May 2014.
