Lizzo made it back to the Met Gala 2025 red carpet.
The “Good As Hell” singer stepped out on the Metropolitan Museum steps on Monday wearing a plunging black-and-white floor-length gown by Christian Siriano.
The dress was created in three days and features three layers of corsets.
The musician topped her look off with a chunky diamond bracelet, rings and dangling diamond earrings and she carried a long, extendable cigarette holder.

Lizzo switched up her hair, styling it in a platinum blond shoulder-length wig with loose waves, which she decided on Monday morning.
She completed her makeup look with a smoky eye and dark lipstick.
Hairdresser Jstayready created her head-turning hair using Red by Kiss styling products and premium Vivace by Kiss extensions.
At the Met, Siriano, 39, told reporters that there was “not an ounce of stretch in anything in this fabric and probably 200 seams” in Lizzo’s ensemble.
The designer also said that “celebrating [Lizzo’s] curves was really important.”
The look perfectly embodies the night’s theme: “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which celebrates the styles of Black dandy men and “the importance of clothing in style to the formation of Black identities in the Atlantic diaspora.”
A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton and Colman Domingo have been honored as the night’s co-chairs.
At last year’s ball, Lizzo, 37, turned heads on the carpet as she wore a sheer brown leaf- and petal-filled gown that extended beyond her head to emulate the look of a tree.
Designer Victor Weinsanto created the botanical-inspired look, telling the Hollywood Reporter the nature-themed attire took between 600 and 700 hours to complete.
“The gown features these sprays of dried flowers, so I wanted to play with the beauty of a rose through its lifecycle, using different tones and just mixing from my palettes,” said Weinsanto.
The star’s matching makeup look included bold-colored flowers around her eyes, further helping her nail the night’s dress code, “The Garden of Time.”
“I gather a lot of my inspiration from botanical gardens, so I was thrilled — nature has the best color combinations,” the star’s makeup artist Alexx Mayo told the outlet.
Lizzo loves to make a grand entrance at the Met. In 2023, she showed up in a Chanel dress dripping in pearls, and in 2022, she went with a black-and-gold embroidered Thom Browne gown that took a total of 22,000 hours to make.
Perhaps her most memorable Met look was in 2019, when she fully embraced the evening’s camp theme in a hot pink feathered Marc Jacobs frock inspired by Shirley MacLaine’s character in the 1964 movie “What a Way to Go!”
We can always expect and overtly on-theme outfit from Lizzo, and this year’s Met was certainly no exception.
