Netflix just unveiled our first real look at Squid Game Season 3 — you know, aside from that tantalizing Season 2 post-credits scene featuring massive murder doll Young-hee and her boyfriend. The first Squid Game Season 3 teaser trailer catches us up on what happens next to Seong Gi-hun, aka Player 456 (Lee Jung-jae), all while teasing new games, returning villains, and the sound of one crying baby…

Squid Game Season 2 ended with Player 456 attempting to lead a rebellion against the deadly game’s guards and architects. While Gi-hun and his allies make a lot of ground, they are ultimately betrayed by Player 001 (Lee Byung-hun), whom they didn’t realize was actually the Front Man! Gi-hun’s loyal friend Park Jung-bae, aka Player 390 (Lee Seo-hwan) is murdered right before his eyes. Most all of the revolutionary players are also killed, except for the cowardly Dae-ho (Kang Ha-neul) and transgender Player 120 (Park Sung-soon). So what happens next?

Well, the first Squid Game Season 3 trailer teases a scene where the guards bring one of the pink ribbon-bound black coffins into the players’ bunk room. Gi-hun is inside and soon wakes up, back in the game. Then we get a glimpse of a new addition to Squid Game: a gum ball machine that gives players red or blue balls. Based on some follow up shots, it appears this is how the game designers are dividing the remaining players into two teams. Gi-hun gets a red ball, as do doting mother Player 149 (Kang Ae-shim) and former bouncer Player 124 (Roh Jae-won). 149’s son, Player 007 (Yang Dong-geun), and Player 120 choose blue.

New photos from Netflix also confirm that exes/expectant parents Kim Jun-hee (Jo Yu-ri) and Lee Myung-gi (Yim Si-was) get assigned to the red team, leading us to guess that red will likely prevail. (Just a theory, though!)

During the rest of the teaser, we see the return of the villainous VIPs, Gi-hun walking through a set that is reminiscent of where he once played marbles, and the Front Man back in his comfy chair, watching the horror play out for his amusement.

The final shot of the trailer is of the pregnant Jun-hee, aka Player 222. There is a single tear cascading down her face. After the title card for Squid Game 3 disappears, we can hear a baby crying. (Man, it would really suck to go into labor during Squid Game.)

The third and final season of Squid Game premieres on June 27 on Netflix.
