Bill Belichick’s friends are “shaking their heads” at the football coach’s relationship with his much-younger girlfriend, Jordon Hudson — especially after his damning “CBS Sunday Morning” interview.
“They are talking to him about her but very gently because they know how deep in he is,” an insider told The Post on Tuesday, claiming Hudson “saw an opening” and “took” the opportunity to wiggle her way into the football coach’s life and career.
“This guy is known as being such a strong voice and in many ways autocratic — and here he is becoming mush in her hands and letting her direct everything,” the source said.
“She is so much younger, so inexperienced and so lacking in perspective and professionalism.”
Belichick’s Sunday sit-down “exposed how bad things are and how much control [Hudson has] been able to get,” the insider added, referring to the former beauty queen, 24, dictating which questions the NFL legend, 73, could answer on camera. “The optics were brutal.”
Belichick has even turned over many professional responsibilities to Hudson, including handling media requests.
She began “gaining more and more territory, filling a need that he had — and she was very aggressive,” the source alleged.
The former cheerleader has been involved in all of Belichick’s communications with Robbi Pickeral Evans, the University of North Carolina’s senior associate athletic director for external affairs and strategic communications. The former New England Patriots coach now works at UNC Chapel Hill.
Her email signature reads chief operating officer of Belichick Productions, per the Athletic.
A second source dubbed the relationship “alarming” before describing Hudson as a “runaway train.”
However, one of her fellow beauty pageant contestants defended her ambition, telling The Post, “I’m sure she could probably run a football team easily and compete in high heels and run a business.
“[Her pageant rivals] might not agree with her men choices, but she’s very well-liked. She’s very smart. I could see her being a good businesswoman. That said, his accomplishments overshadow her potential.”
Hudson came under fire Sunday for interrupting her boyfriend’s interview after journalist Tony Dokoupil asked about how they met.
“We’re not talking about this,” she sternly said while sitting off-camera.
A source later told TMZ that Hudson stormed off the “CBS Sunday Morning” set and caused a 30-minute delay after getting upset.
She also allegedly disrupted the Q&A several times, even correcting Belichick when he answered football-related questions.
CBS News executives reportedly had to get involved in the editing process to figure out how to save the segment — and a second interview with the sports icon was allegedly canceled.
Belichick and Hudson went public with their romance last summer after he broke up with his partner of nearly a decade, Linda Holliday.
The couple met on a flight in February 2021 when the coach signed his now-girlfriend’s college textbook with a note that read, “Jordon, Thanks for giving me a course in logic! Safe travels!”
They were then photographed together for the first time in June 2024.
