Jason Biggs reveals the health issue that motivated him to drop 35 pounds.

“I had some cholesterol issues,” the “American Pie” star exclusively tells Page Six at the City Harvest Gala in New York City on Tuesday.

“Probably because of the … ice cream pints I would knock back.”

Biggs, 46, explains he shed the weight after altering his diet and workout routine.

“It’s been a journey,” he says. “My cholesterol came down 70 points.”

While the actor can’t pinpoint how long it took to get his health under control, he says it took “a while.”

However, Biggs still indulges sometimes, telling us his favorite junk food is ice cream, specifically from a gelato shop in the West Village.

The “Loser” star also admits he throws back pints of Van Leeuwen on occasion.

Biggs has previously opened up about his health, including his past struggle with alcoholism, during an appearance on his wife Jenny Mollen’s “All the Fails” podcast in March 2024.

“I’m going to therapy and ‘working on things’ but meanwhile I’m leaving therapy, having just had a good session, and I’m going to the liquor store and buying a fifth of vodka, drinking it and then driving home,” he shared, per People.

“I knew how to get wasted enough to where I took myself out of the life equation, took myself out of the present, didn’t have to connect in a way that made me feel things.”

Biggs claimed that he hid his alcoholism from his wife, and she never noticed it.

“I had it figured out to a T — to not get too drunk where I couldn’t have a conversation with you,” he told Mollen.

Biggs celebrated one year of sobriety in 2018 after first attempting to get clean five years earlier, per People.

Biggs and Mollen, 45, tied the knot in 2008. They share sons Sid, 11, and Lazlo, 7.
