The Kardashian-Jenner clan have long been accused of posting heavily edited photos on social media, but according to Khloé Kardashian, a fair bit of editing takes place on their reality series “The Kardashians” as well.

Speaking on Wednesday’s episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Khloé revealed the bits that often get cut from the show, which premiered in 2022 on the heels of the conclusion of their long-running predecessor show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

Claiming that she’s never “cut anything crazy” from footage, Khloé told host Alex Cooper that “it’s more vanity things” that she and her sisters — Kourtney, Kim, Kendall and Kylie — and mom Kris Jenner nix from episodes.

After Cooper questioned “who’s the pickiest” among the siblings, Khloé singled out her eldest sister.

“It’s more because she’ll say, ‘I say “like” too many times, so remove this word,’” Khloé said of Kourtney Kardashian Barker. “It’s more that regard. It’s not really storylines because they’re following us, but it’s not about a story concept. It’s more verbiage.”

Despite the strategic edits, Khloé jokingly added, “[Kourtney] still says ‘like’ 500 times.”

During an episode of “Hot Ones” back in 2022, the Good American founder subtly admitted that reality shows are often edited or feature rearranged sequences. Though she didn’t specifically refer to “The Kardashians” in particular, she spoke about some of the editing tricks used on reality TV.

“I can tell when some audio has been put in, if they need to, like, reshoot audio, or if, like, a phone call is faked. And not that those things didn’t happen, but sometimes they didn’t catch the audio or sometimes the mics go out,” Khloé explained.

She clarified that “a lot of it might be really how it was,” but sometimes producers “might just have to redo something or transitions to things.”

Khloé added: “I even know that a lot of pages, fan accounts will find … if they see, like, an editing issue, or something like that. So it can be super minor, but I’m really aware of those things and I tend to notice all that stuff.”
