Jimmy Kimmel has had quite the time on Live lately. But, unfortunately for avid Jimmy Kimmel Live fans at home, the show will not be airing new episodes for the remainder of the week.

It looks like Kimmel will be taking a few days off for the Thanksgiving holiday. But the late night host has had quite the week railing against conservatives on Live. Kimmel recently mocked Robert F. Kennedy Jr. over his heroin use and slammed Matt Gaetz over the several sexual misconduct allegations that have been following the former congressman for years. He also roasted the “MAGA grifter-types” who recently migrated to Cameo.

The late night host has not been holding back with his political commentary since Donald Trump won the presidential election. He was even moved to tears during the broadcast as he lamented what a “terrible night” it was.

Still, the show must go on. This past week, Kimmel has been joined by several great guests, including Ronny Chieng, Kathy Griffin, and Drew Starkey.

But Jimmy Kimmel Live will not be airing new episodes Wednesday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Nov. 29. So, when will the late night talk show be back with new episodes?

Here’s everything you need to know.

When will Jimmy Kimmel Live be back on ABC with new episodes?

It looks like Jimmy Kimmel Live will likely return with new episodes starting Monday, Dec. 2.

For now, the show will be airing re-runs of recent episodes to fill the 11:35 p.m. ET slot.

On Wednesday, ABC will air a recent episode featuring Denzel Washington and Phillipa Soo. And on Thanksgiving Day, an episode of Live featuring Colman Domingo and Doriane Pin will air. The week will end with a recent episode featuring Jim Gaffigan and Jason Kelce, as well.

But next week, the show will return with Jamie Lee Curtis kicking off the week to talk about her new Prime Video series The Sticky, based on the real-life Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist. Hannah Einbinder will also be joining the show that evening.

And with today’s political climate, who knows what political antics will ensue by then for Kimmel to discuss during his opening monologue.

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs on weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on ABC.
