This party included a hail Mary moment.
Recent Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Mary J. Blige had guests — and music legends alike — amped to see her arrive at W magazine editor-in-chief Sara Moonves’ 40th birthday party in NYC on Saturday night.
Moonves celebrated the milestone at Chez Margaux, the private members club where Taylor Swift has been seen twice since it opened this month.
Other stars who’ve been spotted at the supper club, we’ve reported, include Martha Stewart, Zoë Kravitz, Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe, Matt Dillon, Jerrod Carmichael, Natasha Lyonne, Faith Hill, rocker Este Haim and more.
In addition to Blige, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Lorde, Lauren Santo Domingo, Tory Burch, Jeremy Allen White and Molly Gordon all made Moonves’ guest list.
Rock legend Paul McCartney was also on the scene, hanging in the restaurant that’s helmed by top toque Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
A spy told Page Six that Blige and McCartney were “laughing and hugging in the restaurant,” before the “Real Love” songstress joined Moonves’ party in one of the venue’s private rooms.
Lorde and Elle Fanning (who attended with her Rolling Stone scion boyfriend Gus Wenner) danced along to Blige’s tunes as she entered the room.
“The Bear” costars White and Gordon were also dancing together throughout the evening.
The private club has been a celeb magnet since it opened, with Swift leading the pack.
The “Blank Space” singer was spotted there with A-list friends on at least two occasions. She and Kravitz reportedly spent eight hours at the venue after Kravitz’s split from her famous fiancé Channing Tatum.
Swfit was also hanging out with Hill and Haim at the club before jetting to Canada for her tour.
President Bill Clinton expressed his admiration for Swift after attending one of the Eras Tour concerts in Toronto.
