Former President Bill Clinton expressed his admiration for Taylor Swift after attending one of her Eras Tour concerts in Toronto, Canada, last weekend.

Clinton appeared on Monday’s episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark,” when co-host Kelly Ripa asked him, “Confirm or deny –– did you see Taylor Swift over the weekend?”

“I did, I did!” Clinton responded, while cameras cut to a video of him sitting in a VIP suite inside Rogers Centre and dancing as Swift sang her hit song “You Belong with Me.”

The former politician, 78, explained that it was his first time seeing Swift, 34, in concert — and he now understands the hype.

“I get it now,” he said. “I mean, I understand why she has such an impact on people and why a lot of these young girls are so captivated.”

Clinton also praised the “Blank Space” singer for singing for “three-plus hours straight” on stage.

“She’s not like a lot of people who do concerts,” he continued. “She did three hours-plus straight. I mean, straight through! She just kept on singing the songs and kept on doing it, which I think is a very respectful thing to do for the audience.”

The “Citizen” author said he went to the concert alongside his wife, Hillary Clinton, their daughter, Chelsea Clinton, Chelsea’s daughter, Charlotte, and some of their friends.

“I was fascinated watching our crowd of kids, especially my granddaughter, standing there with the wife of one of Chelsea’s friends from 20-plus years ago and her daughters, and all of them up there singing and they all knew the words to all the songs,” he shared.

Ripa chimed in and asked Clinton if the young girls begged him to use his status to meet the Grammy winner backstage.

“Actually, they didn’t, and I probably couldn’t have,” he said while laughing. “And we didn’t, but you know the venues are so big, you got to walk across a football field to get to backstage.”

Clinton caught one of Swift’s last concerts as part of her legendary Eras Tour that kicked off in March 2023. Her last set of shows will take place in Vancouver next month.

The realization that Swift’s massive tour is coming to an end seemingly hit her during her last show in Toronto over the weekend, when she became emotional on stage.

“Toronto, we’re at the very end of this tour so you doing that, you have no idea how much it means to me and to my …,” she said, before pausing while getting choked up.

Swift began to thank her crew and “everybody who’s put so much of this into this tour” before acknowledging the emotional moment.

“That was, uh, I’m just having a bit of a moment. Sorry,” she continued, before expressing her “love” for Toronto.
