Anna Wintour Finally Addresses Comparisons to Devil Wears Prada’s Miranda Priestly
Anna Wintour is looking for someone to fill some of her shoes.
After 37 years as American Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief, the leader of the fashion publication told her team she’s seeking a new head of editorial content, a company spokesperson confirmed to NBC News June 26.
The 75-year-old will continue her role as Global Editorial Director at Vogue and Chief Content Officer at Condé Nast, overseeing the global markets of each brand including Vanity Fair, Wired, GQ, Architectural Digest, Glamour, Conde Nast Traveler, Bon Appetit, Tatler, World of Interiors, Allure and more.

Anna, who has been the EIC of the “Fashion Bible” since 1988, is seeking someone whose role will operate in the same function as those in the position in the markets in Japan, China, India, Taiwan, U.K., France, Spain, Germany, Italy and the Middle East. A structural move that was made in 2021.
